Tim, there's a guy making the shirts & hoodies for the SHeepshead Bay boats, and will be making he NERB tee shirts and hoodies in the next few weeks. He has a sweatshirt which is INSANELY warm and comfy, the cost was $70 (2 color silk screen front & back) and that was 2 years ago. It weighs 8#'s, and is 6 layers thick. Last winter, I didn't wear a leather jacket, instead I worse this thing. Problem is with a cost of at least $70, you're lookig at even more to retail it, and that's gonna be a tough sell.

If nothing pans out from a member on this site, I'd be glad to share teh guys info with you. I do know that there is at leat one guy in NJ who posts here with an embroidery place, who I am pretty sure can accomodate you. It's been a couple of years since I contacted him though, so I can't even remember who it is.

Whatever you do, good luck with it.

Great Im glad that I sparked some evolution at our beloved on line SOL store.

Please put me down for a 3XL in black ...

No Catharts or other expensive brands please. Im sure that we can get a good quality USA made "mom and pops" outfit to make our SOL hoodies at a great price and at a great quality....

As a matter of fact put me in for 2 of them in 3XL...

one black and one forest green or Navy blue...

And Yes the Def design on the back is a great great idea... put it on the front as well.... the SOL hoodie should have a surf aura..

I'll waer it with pride around the world... "on stage"

I couldn't disagree more. If you want quality, you have ot pay for it. I'm sure you could get something at a great price, that after 3 washes your 3XL is not an XL, the silk screening started to fade/wear out, etc. I thnk that is why so many guys have said thatis exactly what they do NOT want.

a corporate vendor out here on the west coast will probably make it for about 30 dollars each for a quantity over 100. my guess.

They should be gray, pull-over style.

Maybe a half-zip.

They gray will allow the wearer to show off a recent batch of blue-fish puke.

If no one here has the business there are a few options. Of course Ann where the hats came from or a guy from Berkeley does a nice job with their stuff too.

The hoodies Billy mentioned are worth every penny. Things are like a mobile blanket + down comforter.

A mother of a mate I know does screenprinting and stuff, I can see what pricing they'll be able to come up with.

Tim, you should be able to get a few places to bid on this proposal
