TimS
Been hearing it for years, it's long over due - I'd like to start looking for someone in the business to make the SOL hoodies - I'd like to give the members here who are in the business first crack at it We want the highest quality hoodies that are made - we'll want the front embroidered, probably with a small version of the SOL logo. And the back done with whatever is the latest technology version of silk screening. We want them to last You can post in this thread or PM me if you are interested in the job TimS Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere. Charleston
Why embroider the front and slikscreen the back? Embroider it all. The trick to good shirts (hoodies in this case) is to use a very good quality blank (shirt). Then the embroidery is worth it. As was the case when choosing the Adams hats. Far too many hoodies today are cheap ass shirts with some logo at a hefty price. If the shirt itself is good the rest will be worth it. The guy in Spring Lake did a great job on the new SRSA jackets! I am old but I'm slow.

Charleston, I agree - except if the price is too high, people won't buy them. I went through it with the Adams caps...I love them, they are the best, no question about it - except people whined about the price - as far as markup goes, at their current $23.99 price, we make less margin on them than bombers...and you can buy bombers anywhere I'm a big fan of getting the best hoodies we can (that was the primary stipulation in my first post above) - and having the art done the best way possible - if embroidery doesn't send the cost through the roof, I'm all for it. Yah still get a better picture if it's silkscreened - isn't there any new silk screen technology out there...something that holds up for years? John M
they arnt cheap....but I love Carhart sweatshirts. got one for a striper tourney a couple years ago.........its the best hoodie I ever have owned. Im looking forward to the tourney again this year to get another one Id be more apt to pay 60$ for a quality carhart than 30$ for yet another junky sweatshirt. But thats just me........ btw I have a nice light blue SRSA hoodie too, still wear it.

Brewroom
Tim, I agree totally on the concept; high quality, no garish giant logo. If no one comes forward, we have used Zeeks Tees in Atlantic Highlands and have been pleased. Cheers, Brew
TimS
John, no worries about the quality of the hoodie - that's non-negotiable...they are gonna be the highest quality hoodies we can find - I like Carhart as well, but I'm not up on the latest in hoodies Z, I know Tommy, he used to advertise here till he closed his website - if he wants a crack at it, I'd be more than happy to talk to him about it Anyone else?
