Do Blackfish eat Mussels???

I wonder how this would work?

they eat mussels... but they crunch it up, they don't inhale the whole thing. if you set the hook on the hit you might gig one once in a while with that bait.

A lot of the papers out there say that mussels are a large part of a tog's diet. They also eat a lot of sand dollars and barnacles. I still think a regular rig where the tog doesn't feel the weight is best.

Capt Freddy G had them when I was on his charter a few years ago -- they never left his tackle box.

Hi Z! How're the mussels in Chi-town??

That thing is for sale on that auction site. I just stumbled across it. Looks cool. Useless, but cool.

havent had a fresh piece of seafood since i've been out here, plenty of good steaks but the closest i got to fresh seafood was some fresh farm raised atalntic salmon from chile, i would kill for a FRESH broiled cod platter from a little place in bristol pa i used to go to.

Too bad. I guess there's always lobster, they travel pretty well, but it's probably $15 a pound out there.
