Anyone remember the name of the compressed air bait launcher....you know the one that launches the frozen fish pop 300 yards?

There was one on Ebay a coupla months back. It was very $$$ and it looked like a lot of work to haul around.

MNW-I don't think that this is the thread ......this was a website that sold completed units and yes speed they were very $$$.

from the demo video on "that site", its funny how they dont really want to show you how far the frozen bait was actually launched. You only get a glimpse of where the bait lands, and it hardly looks like it is 300 yards out.

One of those gigantic slingshots that hurl water balloons would probably do the trick and be cheaper and lighter to tote.

Its called the Far Out Fisher.
In the vidieo they tell you that they spooled the reel. Looks like one of the Far East makes.
The guy Lives close to here and is friends with one of the other salemen.

Several years ago I was fishing & a guy had a home made pipe gun contraption that was shooting his bait out past the 3rd wave.

Would a remote controlled "boat" work if a device is figured to pop the bait off the side at a certain point? Light waves, or bay fishing??

They sold them for $1200. I made one once for $40 if that. ( was very bored had pvc left from redoing a sewer pipe.

A "Big Shot Line Launcher" might work. It's a very big slingshot that arborists use to shoot lines into trees.

Just make a potato gun for under 20 bucks..... I can teach you how in 2 minutes that can shoot a 1 pound spud through the side of a car door ( or about 1500 feet )
