Can you fish at Jones beach during the daytime between now and Labor day? If so, are you only allowed at the west end?

Ok. So I can fish at Jones beach during the summer. I assume west end is OK? Other places? Is there a website that lists them?

West end 2, field 6, field 10 (fishing piers) are all available for fishing. There may be others, but I'm not sure.

EAA -

In general... any where away from the bathing beaches. W.E. is good as is east of field 6. Think early mornings and late evenings.

Be careful east of 6. Lots of strange goings on in that area.

You can fish outside the green flags. Best to walk another few hundred yards beyond the flag before you cast, tho. Altho the lifeguards try to keep everyone inside the green, they don't always succeed.
