Parker 2320

Briefly looked at a new 2320 today, with a Yami 250 four stroke. Anyone have any experience with this combo that might have an idea of the cruise/top speeds and economy?

Thanks

I have the same boat and love it so far. I cruise at about 28-30MPH burning 8.2-8.6GPH at 4000 RPM's. That gives me an estimated range of about 500 miles per tank.

The boat has plenty of power with the F250. Excellent combination. Top speed is about 45 MPH but I don't remember the exact fuel consumption at WOT. I only did it once during the sea trial and don't plan on doing it again until I'm done breaking it in. 2 more hours to go.

Everything on the boat is rock solid. The cockpit is huge. I get complimented on it everywhere I go. My only complaint is the dash. They made it really hard to mount electronics. Also, the porta potti really doesn't have too much privacy. I'm not sure if that's a problem for you. Luckily for me it didn't matter.

Thanks, that's the kind of performance info I was looking for.

Unfortuately, the potti thing is an issue. The boat needs to be family friendly...and 2320 doesn't give you much more than a bucket. Did not impress the General. Lack of freshwater to rinse after diving isn't helpful either. But dang, I really like the boat anyway... The low maintenance is a beautiful thing. And that F250...

The box in the transom a livewell or just a fishbox/storage?

It can be used as either. It doesn't have a circulation pump though. I'm sure you can add one though. The way I look at it, the less holes below the waterline, the better. I don't have one single hole under the boat.

I know they have a saltwater washdown available as an option, no freshwater though. Parker keeps it simple.

Just wanted to let you know I ran it at WOT today. I have 11 hours on the motor now. WOT was 45MPH (calm seas) and fuel consumption was 21GPH at that speed. I love this boat more everytime I use it.
