Just got back from the Post Office. The Swappers should be getting their packages on Wednesday or Thursday. cwm12.gif I also included an ID chart inside each package to help with the "who made what" Sent via Priority Mail.

Enjoy!

Beautiful plugs - wish I were on the darter list.

Can't help but notice no one put on a bucktail. No bucktails fans out there? I always try to dress it up with a few hairs. Any opinions on this? I'd be interested to hear. What are the advantages, or not, of adding a bucktail?

I feel it gives it a little extra action that looks like the tail on a bait-fish.

Bleh.

saltator,

I usually throw bucktail on when I am trying to get a little more lift in the arse of the plug(especially if I place the lead too far back! frown.gif )

Bucktail will certainly liven up the action of any plug. I personally prefer to use it on my metal lip swimmers. I tend to use darters in fast moving water which already gives the plug plenty of action . . .

I dont use bucktail on my darters because I feel that it kills the action. this winter i did lots and lots of testing and the darters that had the best action were the ones will bald trebbles. They zigged and zagged much better than ones with dressed hooks. I guess what i am trying to say is that it makes the plug mor erratic. a 5/0 sparsely dressed siwaish is a good comprimise.

Mine came in yesterday's mail, as well, and I have to agree... lotsa different ideas to play with. I'll have to set aside some time, soon, to swim these and check 'em out.

Nice work, everyone. icon14.gificon14.gif If I was forced to single one out, then Tagger's gets my vote for nicest paint.

I can't wait to test them all. So far, I've made a few casts with li.fish's and PASurfer's plugs and icon14.gificon14.gificon14.gif The tide will be sweet for the top secret darter spot starting around the middle of next week. They will all get put through their paces and hopefully down the throats of a few bass. biggrin.gif
