Hammer
This buck was taken on the last day of the season. The guy that shot it says he got out of his truck in a pouring rain, took 10 steps into the woods and up it jumped. One shot and he had, maybe, the biggest 8 point in Pa,ever, and 1 of the 100 biggest in US history. It`s being scored now. We`ll have to wait to see where it fits in the record books. Fish Wish
Beautiful animal! Perserverance, scouting and hard work help in making a hunt successful but nothing beats being in the right place at the right time. No question that's a buck of a lifetime... Outstanding! joeturse
That buck has to be near 30 inches inside spread! I have mule deer on the wall that is 30,and the whitetail pictured looks as wide. Real nice 8 pointer! Joe
Hammer
The rack has an inside spread of 24 1/4 inches and main beams of 28 inches each.It was taken in Southern Lancaster county near Holtwood. The paper says that there were so many people and cars coming and going from his house in the days after he shot it that the neighbors thought some one died in the family. Fish Wish
Looks pretty symetrical with maybe a minor deduction on G-2 on the right side for what looks like a sticker. Should make Boone and Crocket with room to spare even with deductions. What we think, or what we know, or what we believe, is in the end, of little consequence. buckmaster
Wow, if that thing had bigger ears I would swear it was mule deer he shot at the zoo.
