  1. He is a priceless Gem found on the beach!!
  2. Look at the bright side.....One less area for the invaders, nightcrawlers and poachers!
  3. Many spots in that area, at specific times are paved with female egg laden blue claw crabs. My sinking line and clousers can't get away from them! An immature blue crab fly is in order, but I have yet to come up on my own with that pattern.
  4. With so many choices these days, and not knowing one vice from another I got really lucky and got the Renzetti traveler. I need for no other vice!
  5. There is an ELEC website that lists NJ Campaign donors.....unless its done the old fashioned way in the brown paper bag under the table at your favorite restaurant with white checkered tablecloths in Long Branch!
  6. What is the weight of the 43' head? Thanks!
  7. What options at Airflo are you considering? Thanks!
  8. Bought New and has been sitting on shelf. $25.00 plus $5.00 shipping
  9. Great advice and input! Prior experiences analyzing and coaching with the use of high magnification video, comparing pro baseball pitching mechanics, from pro to amateur, allows me to know practice doesn't make perfect. PERFECT practice makes perfect. Beauty of baseball is its much easier to find video examples of near perfect pitching mechanics and hard facts proven with results calibratred by success and a radar gun. Further cemented by injury free longevity. Coaching and instruction comes in digital electronic form, in prosports where big $$$ is at stake, and can be emulated, easily because so much material is available. Plenty video material available in single hand flycasting, not so much in our two hand Northeast saltwater ovehead casting endeavors. I'm steadily enjoying the journey.
  10. When casting THOH by myself, with no spotter mirror or video, the only way I can reasonably tell my tip is traveling in a straight line path is by keeping the entire rod perpendicular to the groud or horizon! I do this by keeping my top hand directly above my lower hand. I have no idea if this is considered correct technique, but the line does travel further then my other iterations. If I do the correct tempo the results are impressive! I even had several compliments from peeps walking up to me on the beach from a distance away. Thanks for this thread and I'm in no way declaring victory yet either!!!
