I dig my own Blood and Sand worms and Tape worms right at the low water mark when the tide is out.. I usually harvest a couple of dozen. And when I'm done fishing I will dump them back in the sand right at the water line.. While digging sometimes I find clams that I don't take because there is a restriction on harvesting clams in my area.. I have caught my biggest fishing using Tapeworms.. The worms are great for catching Blues, Stripers and Fluke.. This sport really keeps me in great shape..

All you have to do is compare it to one on a reel ..

Not to change the topic but my most productive lure is a lead head 3/4 ounce to 2.5 ounces with a 6 to 8 inch grub or shad on it.. And what makes it more exciting is watching a monster size fish follow the lure back in, then grabbing the jig head and peeling the line off your reel.....

Any time that I have used a bucktail lure in saltwater it doesn't go back into the box not to contaminate the other lures making them rust. It goes into a gallon plastic bottle and at the end of the fishing trip all my used bucktails get washed in the sink using soap and hot water and then hung up to dry to be used on my next trip..

What I have been doing is making little bags out of old pantyhose filling them with mothballs and attaching them under the hood of my Ford. Also under the seats .
