  1. Well, I'm kinda torn on this whole thing now. Been keeping track of public records regarding the case and his court date was yesterday. The case has been adjourned until next month and referred to a "Problem-Solving/Alternative Court Program", which I assume is some kinda rehab. This is good as I hope he gets the help he needs, however, upon further searching, I found that the county has decided to file a civil forfeiture case against him and Toyota Motor Credit Corp to take his car. This I do not agree with. Sure, he should face consequences due to his actions, but I don't believe asset forfeiture should be one of them.
  2. They always overcharge in an attempt to get you to plea bargain down to a lesser charge
  3. So according to records, he was arraigned with 4 counts of DWI Pled not guilty and had his license suspended pending his court date this week
  4. I've had to do several recoveries in Daytona and New Smyrna
  5. NGL Their food is pure $#!t, but I crave their peach slush Been going to Sonic and DQ quite a bit lately for that and for the free pup cups lol
  6. Idiots will continue to vote for this horseshit
  7. I kinda felt sorry for him He wasn't combative or belligerent, but clearly not in his own mind Part of me actually wanted to just let him sleep it off in the backseat, but with all this talk of people OD'ing on fentanyl nowadays, I figured it was just best to get him help
  8. Having lost several friends to drunk drivers over the years, I have no issue being the dick that exposes them That's my biggest fear anytime my loved ones get behind the wheel You can be the most careful driver, but you never know who else is on the road Sorry, I didn't want to edit it down much to show everything from start to finish This was a bit concerning actually They all seemed confused as to how go about handling the paperwork since none of them witnessed the driver behind the wheel Me putting him in the backseat didn't help the situation any I ended up having to wait over an hour just to sign a statement, so I was late for work and I didn't even get my damn burger from Sonic This is true Hope he gets the help he needs
  9. Spotted this guy on the Southern State weaving in and out of traffic Thought he might be elderly or just plain tired, so I gave him a few honks to wake him up, but he just kept on truckin in the same manner Called 911 and reported him I was heading to the Sonic in East Meadow and by sheer luck he just happened to pull into the Wendy's next door, so I followed him and noticed he was clearly in distress passing out behind the wheel Managed to take his keys and called 911 again cause there was no way I was gunna let him back on the road in his condition He was booked for DWI after being checked out by a medic
  10. Don't think I've ever had a dog this calm during a bath
