  7. For sale. $3000 great little boat. Always starts and runs. 2003 50hp Merc. 2 stroke. 10g gas tank. Added top side bilge pump as well as one under deck. Foam is dry inside. I cut it open and put bilge to check. Boat drives nice. Im going to de winterize it within the next couple weeks but will do it sooner for someone in person with cash. Just put a brand new prop last season. Comes with a Lowerance color fish finder/ gps with down scan 3D or whatever it's called. Roller Trailer has new bearings and works fine but has some rust on certain parts. Not looking for people asking 10,000 questions with no intentions of buying. If you have money and know what these boats are worth and want to buy one you can pm me for contact details.
  8. Looking for an 11' 1-3 oz CTS. I have a Loomis NRX 9 wt. I've used it and caught fish on it. Switched over to a T&T rod and it doesn't get used as much now. I broke my CTS rod and can't afford a new one so I need to trade. Thanks.
  9. I tie direct to braid. Don't even know what it's called. Make a loop in flouro. Make tag end about 3" long running up the main part of line then put braid through it and wrap 11 times around the loop and pass braid end back through loop. Pull main braid line and braid tag and work it down nice and tight. Never fails me. I saw a boat captain out of Long Island I believe posted a video on it I've used it ever since and it's money for me.
  10. Depending on your location. I have the 7' model with the clash 2500 reel If you want to check it out before you buy. I'm in Staten Island.
  11. I have been doing some work recently down in the outer banks. The biggest misconception I had was that if I was fishing the surf I would need a big surf rod etc. I rolled on down there with my vanstall and a 9'6" shimano rod. Little did I know...I ended up seeing all these guys throwing 7'-7-6" rods with 2500 size reels and was like wtf. These guys are idiots. Lmao. I ended up being the idiot. Although I caught a bunch of fish. They were all way to small for my setup. I picked up a St. Croix avid 7' medium with a penn clash 2500. They spoooled it with 10# dawa braid and pointed me to the mirro lures and light 3/8-1/4 oz buck tails and gulp bait. They also put me on some shrimp to use. That s the game there. I could've just brought my 7' mojo inshore that I use here in the back bays but they told me even that is too heavy for those fish. You need to have a light presentation. I really enjoy it. And that clash reel is very nice. I have a few of those lures for up here now also. Some of them make a great peanut bunker imitation.
  12. Use it when there's no moon out or over cast at night. Have confidence that many many other people catch on it at night. Personally I've caught over 100 bass the past 3 fall runs at night on open beaches where I saw no signs of fish whatsoever and nobody else catching. Slow retrieve and add in a twitch every few reels. Even a twitch and then short pause. Killer.
