EDWARD VOM HOFE ALSO MADE SOME FISHING TACKLE HE MADE WHAT YOU CALL A SAM SPOON IN 1918 THAT WAS 5" LONG VERY LARGE SPOON THERE WORTH A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS HE ALSO MADE A VERY NARROW SPOON CALLED THE SAM SPOON ALSO WORTH A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS. BOTH SPOONS ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND HARD TO FIND

BUT THE VALUE OF YOUR REEL WOULD BE ABOUT $1500.00 YOUR LUCKY KEEP HOLD OF IT.

  5. your reels are beautiful examples of late 19th century reels made in new york around the 1890s you dont see many leather cases with them you have both they conservatively would probably sell for $1000 to 1500 dollars each but with the cases probably a little more. take care of them keep them exactly like they are.
  6. i agree with you i have had several 300s and there just like a watch they keep on ticking. i dont use them now i have bought me some lighter spinning reels.

  8. IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO A SPEED STICK HANDLE WILL THE ROD COME OUT OF THE HANDLE OR IS IT PERMANENT?
