  7. We are adding even more lures this year to our tournament prizes. The top peg boards are really two grand prizes of 24 lures each. Same as last year. Worth over $400.00 each. These are some of the top brand lures out there. The bottom Plano box cases have at least 8 lures in each and there are 8 of them (could not fit them all) to give out. Each one is worth well over $100.00 each. Second picture is a blow up of one of them. Most of them are custom made. They are new this year. All of this was donated by supporters of the fishing community. Thank you. [img=http://www.stripersonline.com/image/id/2192965/width/600/height/450] Carl Hartmann HRFA

  9. One of our nice custom prizes. A lure donated by Striper Bites with the HRFA logo on it.
  10. Here is another picture from last years surf tournament. Check out some of the prizes. We expect about the same amount and type of prizes this year. Contact me at chartmann@hrfanj.org for me information or an application. Remember it's on October 15th and you get 4x4 access with paid registration.
  11. Here is one of the top prizes from last years tournament. This is Al from Lemires Plug Works custom plugs holding ten lures he donated for a prize. Al is on board again with us as a sponsor for the tournament on October 15th this year. Nice Plugs!!! Grab a few friends and come fish this tournament.
  12. Tomaz, Someone from your team up to six, needs to be at the registration in the morning to obtain two areas/spots that have been sectioned off to your team exclusively. Usually about 200 feet or so. You fish that area, extracting what you can that is legal for points, then at 10 am, you have one half an hour to switch to another position that you already picked that morning. Usually about 1/2 - 1 mile away down the beach. You stay at the second spot until the tournament is over at 1pm. This makes it fairer if a team has a hole on the first or second spot. Very easy with 4x4 on the beach. This will be on either Seaside Heights or Seaside Park beach. All rules are at www.*************** Let me know if this helps. Carl
  13. Hey guys, this is one of our larger prizes for the surf tournament. A custom made surf fishing pole by Joe Miani. The description is below. The rod is a custom made eleven foot one-piece surf spin rod. It is built on the Lamiglas GSB132 1M blank. The rod is contructed with Fuji black frame Alconite ceramic ring guides specifically designed to handle all monofilament and braided lines. The handle is built with a Fuji deluxe reel seat and the actual grip material is a navy blue diamond pattern over a powder blue heat shrink rubber tubing; to compliment the handle the guides are wrapped in metallic navy blue over pearlescent white metallic thread. This is a truly one-of-a-kind custom rod. It is finished with three coats of epoxy and is adorned with the HRFA club logo. The equivalent factory Lamiglas rod is an XS111MS graphite surf & jetty rod. It will comfortably handle up to eight ounces (with bait) or lures in the 2-5oz range (for plugging). The factory specifications set the line rating at a maximum of 40lb test; but most of the people that use this blank are fishing with Power Pro in the range of 30# test (for plugging) to 50# test for bait fishing, or mono in the 15#-25# test range. This rod will accomodate just about any full size surf reel ( a normal 2.25"-3.00" spool lip diameter) but the matching reel should weigh at least 20ozs. to balance the rod weight and length.
  14. This guy is one of our sponsors for our surf tournament in Seaside Park on October 15th. He is donating a full rod/cooler rack as a prize. The tournament is open to everyone. Check it out at www.hrfa.us Thanks Jerry for your support!
