  1. It’s been a couple years since I posted here too. The long drives and overnight fishing marathons are rough on my old ass. But I miss the big reds so made the trip Monday afternoon and got a 44 overnight and a 50 after sunup. A lot of 2-4 foot sharks mixed in, some landed and many bite offs. Was so much fun I’ll be back soon.
  2. Insane. You’re living my dream life. Fish of a lifetime type catches on the regular.
  3. So, anyone that can see there is a problem in Florida is a communist?
  4. No business can afford to refuse a sale right now so if nobody is there to enforce it, they are not going to not sell you a license. For a fishing report, the grass on Saturday was worse than I’ve ever seen. Hundreds of pounds of weeds, no fish, and sky high frustration levels.
  5. Could it be that if you have a license or permit that expires during the state of emergency that you are given a 30 day grace period to renew? It’s just a guess. Because my wife is a teacher I learned that not everyone has internet access.
  6. I see it as you won’t be able to buy a fishing license at the local bait shop because it’s available online.
  7. Whatever hole you are pulling the kingfish/whiting out of, be there as the sun is setting and toss one of those heads in there. You don’t have to reach the bar. Better yet, try casting metals at sunset and if you get some blues throw one of their heads in that same area. Some nights you have to take rods out of the rotation because you can’t keep up with the action.
  8. Lot of nice fish this year. Good to see how healthy the red population is.
  9. Mission complete 44”. And back in time to catch Gators game. Thanks to the nice couple that stopped and took this pic.
  10. Cool stories. Really gets the adrenaline going, don’t it? I would suggest roughtail rays but it could be any of dozens of different sea monsters.
  11. Yes, closed beaches might be the problem. Us that are still drumless need this weekend. Up against the clock now.
