  1. The fact that some people consider Palin "smart", even smarter than Hillary Clinton.... speaks volumes about the dumbing down of the electorate. Whoever considers this brain-dead hillbilly intelligent and admires her intellect must have the mental capacity of a retarded amoeba. If this is your idea of "smart", you might want to consider genetic counseling.
  2. For example, if I was to get frisked boarding a private bus, I understand that I am not subject to the frisk and can avoid it by not boarding. However, boarding public transportation I would have a problem with the same treatment. In that case, an LE officer couldn't care less weather I wanted to board or not, I suppose. He has decided to frisk me either way and I have no say.
  3. I think they r two totally different situations. I expect to get frisked boarding a private plane. I may not like it but its not violated the 4A. S&F, however, is a total violation of the bill of rights and a direct violation of my person and privacy in a public space.
  4. Or maybe confining it to the cases and procedures that are specifically called for in the bill of rights.
  5. They don't frisk you entering the airport, only when you are going to board the plane and must pass through to the terminal.
  6. In other words...private vs public. Like entering a sports arena vs driving down the road.
  7. Hey Darter...how ya been? To address ur question... I think to board a private airplane, its part of the agreement to board. If you don't want to, you don't have to take the flight, like John mentioned. In contrast to just walking down a public street, you haven't consented to anything.
  8. Wouldn't want to have 2 wrestle them from your mouth, thanks.
  9. Let me guess... its a long shot.... you are against big gov't... you defend against the desecration of the constitution you have strong principles you detest moral relativism you identify as "conservative"? LOL!
  10. I'm not sure I understand. I was under the impression that LE had a problem w/ the mayor when he attempted to change the policy of stop and frisk. I read on SOL that LE felt the change in policy was an affront to them and would make their jobs more dangerous and less effective. If they were just following protocol w/out an agenda, why would they get upset by DeBlasio trying to change the S&F policy?
  11. Actually more like actually walking the walk...that's called principles. I don't so much dislike viewpoints that are opposite of mine...insomuch that I detest when people lack conviction and publicly say they stand for some principle only to realize that they really don't...they just say they do because it furthers their limited personal agenda in isolated cases that mean something to them. When big govt is violating the constitution and it doesn't affect them (because they don't live in a bad part of town), well, that's not really a problem, lol.
  12. Not disappointed at all! Actually very encouraged.
  13. I bet it was...unsuccessfully, apparently. Even in this political atmosphere... if a cop were to stop me and question me when I was not doing anything wrong, my inclination would be to avoid saying anything to him. "Anything you say can and WILL be used against you in a court of law." If I was being questioned by LE the only thing I might say to them is to ask them if I am being detained, or if I am free to go on my way. If I am being detained by an agent of the govt, I would ask to utilize my right to speak w/ my lawyer.
