  1. These 2 pics might give an idea of size of front area and stability. In the striper pic we are both on the same side and the boat is is pretty much level.. Extremely stable and capable.
  2. No, it drafts 12 inches. The platform has many advantages besides poling. Provides a lot of stability when fishing from the back of the boat. I have 2 stainless steel rod holders mounted on it which have been great for livelining an extra rod off the back/flat line trolling, etc. The boat is very capable overall, JB's have a great rep.
  3. Just put mine up for sale in the buy/sale/trade forum ( FYI

  5. Popper works great but I use a fly as a trailer that mimics whatever they're eating.
  6. Thanks for all the info! I fished with Bruce Foster at Harker's and ended up fishing with Rob one day also. He was awesome. Brian, that's where I stayed before, might try Beaufort for the food choices. Thanks for the UNC stuff as I was hoping for some good redfishing. It is nice there!
  7. Thanks Brian, on another note, I'm thinking of coming down to Harker's for the first time since 2000. Any suggestions on what/who would be available for lodging and guiding? Also, last week of October or first week of November if you had to chose?
  8. So my oldest has started college majoring in Marine Biology at UNCW. We got her settled in last weekend and I took some time to look around. Looking for advice on fishing the area as I plan to visit often If you can help give me the lay of the land it's much appreciated!
  9. Seems like good intentions but formula is waaaay off. The banter is more annoying than funny. Tackle Direct is the best and I did like seeing some folks from my marina in last night's episode.
