Steg Posted August 16, 2018 Report Share Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) Do you think the Stella 6000 HG is tough enough to handle pe 4 braid (approx 40 lb)? And how's it cope with retrieving 2 oz plugs? I can see the line capacity could be a little short - 210 m of pe 4, but it's probably adequate. I'm not keen on going for the next size up if there's no need to, because of the increased weight of the 8000 reel. Was a bit worried that it might be a sort of finesse reel, but obviously it's pretty tough. It's to go on a Japanese style shore jigging rod.
