What if Ross Perot had won back in 92?

24 posts in this topic

He was too short and not attractive enough.  He had a funny voice.   He wasnt in one of the clubs.

IMO these are a huge part of why he lost.

But that's not my question/topic.  Regardless of why he didnt...

WHat if he won?

Write the book.  How would thinkgs be different culturally, politlcally, emotionally, and _________?

We might not be as broke as we are now but both sides in Congress would have railed against him preventing him from doing much of what he campaigned on.

I voted for him....

I figured as much.   I did as well.

I think there is a book in this.  A political "guns of the South", if you will.

So did I, and put the Slickey Boy right in office.

Imagine that, I voted for him also.

I think he ran 20 or so years too early.

If he won, we wouldn't have heard that giant sucking sound of our jobs going south.

Him winning would have dealt an early blow to the elite's plan of globalism, and set them back, and maybe discouraged them.

Of course, I am just speculating, and everything could have gone the opposite...but we will never know.

Him losing brought us Trump, and that is not a bad thing.

IF Perot would of won,Gore wouldn't of invented the internet and we wouldn't be having this discussion on the information highway.

Well we'd a been dead already because we wouldn't have known about global warming/cooling.

Anyone who read "Irreconcilable Differences - Ross Perot Vs. GM" voted for him

He lost because he couldn't properly handle the savagery of the media and he made an extremely poor choice for Vice President, James Stockdale. A wonderful, good man, and American hero, who was tragically unprepared for the nomination.

Had he won, this countries finances wouldn't be in the terrible mess they are.

Donald Trump faced the similar attacks as Perot and triumphed.

Trump learned from Ross. No chance to win as an independent. It is why he hijacked the Republican Party instead of running as an independent.

In a turn, we have Ross to thank for Trump....

In 1992, presidential candidate Ross Perot blamed extraterrestrial life for political gridlock. "It's not the Republicans' fault, of course, and it's not the Democrats' fault," he said in a debate. "Somewhere out there there's an extraterrestrial that's doing this to us, I guess."
