lt's easy to do just buy VSX main gear and traverse arm, and it's done, or if you have a machinist friend re-drill hole in the right place for the traverse roller pin and just buy traverse arm and re-placement pin. out lay might be

$ 20.00.

yeah you just need to make the transverse guide S shaped because a straight transverse guide (on the vs and vsb) will means that as line gets wrapped up and down the spool at the top and bottom it gets doubled over, creating the hourglass line lay.

They made it so that the VSX transverse guide isn't compatible with the vs/vsb, also the transverse guide for the vsx is not available and I think the gear is like $70.

Makes sense. Sounds like if you had access to machine with cad  it wouldn't be too difficult.

yes, but even easier since the part is less complex. did that one ever get finished?
