How many here who get arrested with there children in this nation have their kids sent to shelters? And separated from their parent. Name one prison or detention center where they allow children.

Let me know how many US citizens who commit a misdemeanor for the first or second time have their children taken away.  Because that is what unlawful crossing of the border is- a misdemeanor.

And let me know when we have zero tolerance for employers (see Hormel) and see them frog marched on FOX or CNN or MSNBC.

If you have been to San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa you might have a better inkling as to why they make such a dangerous journey.

On the other hand you are correct, the parents need to own their actions.

Likewise we as a nation need to own our actions and inactions.   If you take an action do not blame others for taking that action.

Own it.  Particularly if you believe it is the right thing to do.

And let me know when we as a country we have zero tolerance for the supply side of this equation.  We really enjoy going after the supply side of the drug issue, so why not the supply side of this one.

I do not need to go to San Pedro Sula or Tegucigalpa. I've seen my share destitute places in my time so my inkling is fine, thanks. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why they want to come to the Greatest Country in the World and I for one am unapologetic about the USA being in that status.

If your criteria for wanting to let people into the country illegally is because of strife in their homeland, everyone would qualify. What then, take them all? You just cannot to save the world.

I'm with you completely on going after the supply-side of this one. Let's start by taking away the incentive by ending any entitlements, benefits afforded to illegal Immigrants. We pay for all that on borrowed money, money that we do not have for people who are not citizens. Once they know there is no pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow, it will deter and the influx will somewhat wane.

The thing about owning actions/inactions is all about emotions and semantics, not about the rule of law. You break the law, you get detained. In this case, if you can prove they are your kids without having the US Gov't pay 23andme.com $200 per test, you should be able keep family together while detained. If not, then they must unfortunately separate Juveniles from Adults for their safety the same way with everyday citizens like you and me.

It sucks but "Three hots and a cot" is better than being in the hands of the Coyotes, Cartels & Traffickers... or six feet under.

Comparing treatment of US Citizens to illegal aliens.

The biggest fish in the river gets that way by never being caught.

They don't throw your kids in a cage either.

So, if these minor ILLEGAL aliens were given better separated living conditions, you would be ok with it?  And what is acceptable enough?  AC, plush beds, separate rooms, cable tv, video games, tutors, schooling, etc.?

What kind of living quarters are acceptable to house these children that should not be here in the first place?

Not according to the law which people here seem to like the idea of.  There are not different penalties for the same crime based on citizenship status in the US.

Looks like our leader is gesturing towards signing an EO to end this nightmare. What will that mean to the rank and file lockstep followers?

So you're a criminal then?

In the end no, because I had filled out the paperwork for a work visa but hadn't waited for a decision; they gave me 2 weeks "to get my affairs in order" and leave SA.  They handed me my passport at the terminal.

Not even free birth control in these countries, India's paid sterilization, or even China's infanticide polices have had the desired effect.

When it reaches critical the human race en masse will resort to time honored war, famine and disease to cull the overpopulation.

the "human race" never does learn from history .....

not a matter of if but WHEN

Looks like the Librul Trump is reversing course. Where’s a true conservative when you need him.

Good question.  Folded like a cheap suit.  As if the parents weren't the ones to blame.

Meanwhile, Chuckie refuses to work on a bill, because Democrats are scumbags.

we take in 1 million from poor countries each year, (poor defined as under $2/day wages) there are 80 million added to the total poor population every year, we could take in 80million a year it still wouldn't make an impact

math was never a strong point for you, huh ?
