Reed422
Is it really worth it? $320 for non-resident is YUGE. Just got a Sandy Neck permit and want Duxbury, but that price is killing me. Dux is 50 minutes and Sandy Neck is Hr 15.
putty
if you are a white sand beach guy and stocked up on your vineyard vines summer wardrobe and wine spritzers it might be worth it. I would feel obligated to go every weekend if I spent that much on a beach sticker...and I venture to guess that they will limit parking for a good chunk of the season as a result of the plovers...and I don't expect Duxbury to refund you for any lost weekends as a result of migratory bird patterns so I guess the answer is...your mileage may vary? Ha. It would be 99% fishing. My waders are LL Bean, I might get shunned from the salmon colored pants crowd.

Larrybudwiser
I know you want to drive but years ago when I lived in Brant Rock, I'd drag my 13' whaler over to Green Harbor and shoot out the inlet, turn south and have the whole thing to myself to Plymouth. But it has been 30 years...
