korkerstud
I’m looking for a fishfinder to use on my OK Prowler 13 and my new Kevlar solo canoe. Since I will be using it on different boats, I’m looking at the portable models that come with everything in a bag. After a little research, the Garmin striker 4 looks pretty good. I like that it has a fishfinder and gps and is color. The gps mapping is limited, I don’t think it supports adding any maps. But for what I’m using it for it should be ok. Are there other similar units from other companies that I should be looking at? Thanks, Alex

korkerstud
GPS is a nice to have, but not absolutely required. I got used to having it on my boat and it really helps with tracking where fish hit and patterning them. I will check out the hummingbird fishin buddy, thanks. fishfinder401
oh yeah, it is helpful, but at least it allows you to have a clamp on fishfinder for like 200, or 300 for down imaging
