DSem215
Anybody know of a location near south Philly with bloodworms?
george6308
Brinkman's at State Rd & Linden Ave in the NE off of 95 may be the only source in Philadelphia. When I worked for a NE sports store we would not carry them as they do not keep long term. They had them in stock as of Febuary 27th. But I guess I might have to.

Gatr522
Call Arts Animals in Holmes. They carried them for a while after Taylors closed. It's a pet store with a section of fishing supplies.
mericanwit
Dunno if this helps... Found a bait n tackle the other day in Morrisville Pa had a ton of different stuff I only grabbed nightcrawlers since I was trout fishing. If you're headed up that way it might be an option for you. Philly4eyes
New place opens up in Tinicum BA Baits. Have not been yet but they have bloods
adidazman15
If you drive down to Chester there are flyers all over the ramp and along the fence to the north of the bridge advertising the new baits shop. Guys said they were a bit expensive but they had bloodworms. May be the place in Tinicum listed above I didn't get out and read it.

DragonsLax48
BA baits is very convenient for guys who are in philly. Much easier than getting to Brinkman's. Bloods have been $14 a dozen but he packs them with good sized bloods. Enter in the side door without a window. Looks real sketchy but convenience is totally worth it. 555jkeegs
I'm in Camden County NJ but run over into Philly to grab worms when I want to hit the river. I've been happy with Sportmaster. Right over the Tacony Palmyra bridge, which is easy for me. Decent price and every time I've gotten worms they are lively. (presumably fresh). 12 a dozen for the regulars and 20 for the jumbos i believe Edited April 18, 2018 by 555jkeegs

MikeJules
Better yet, anyone figure out how to catch their own bait out there? I've got a few thoughts about eel pots and a little creek fishing. Nothing has come to fruition yet though.
