Battled serious gusty winds today.   Winds were blowing about 30 MPH with gusts near 50.    I still fished and caught a crappie before It got too rough and sketchy.

32 MPH this morning, but dropped to 24.   It was miserable.   Can't understand why they turned off.  Only caught one very small chain pick that threw the lure before I could get a hold of him.   I "was" enjoying the fish finder, but today it teed me off.  Marking fish everywhere but they just wouldn't bite.  Threw everything at them for 4 hours and gave up.

Too nice of a day after the Nor'easter not to give it a try. Good bite on grubs .

Did some fishing earlier today only caught one decent size white perch, what made it better was having the entire place to myself :) Thank you to the remaining winds from the Nor'easter.

With several days of serious north wind, the rivers and creeks are blown out and two - three feet below "normal".  Considering most of the places I fish are only 2 - 4 ft deep, very limiting for launch locations, but I found a spot and put in for a chilly (high thirties) trip.   Only managed three dink bass to 1 lb 2 oz and a wee White Perch.   Been tough lately, can only get better.
