New Jigs

Works of art! Over and above the awesome colour scheme, that head profile pushes my buttons. Very nice.

Any society that charges it's own children for knowledge, is doomed to fail.

Whilst intelligence is not affected by geography, it is influenced by education, opportunity and drive.   

Now is the time to change our attitude towards blues, next year may well be too late (Somebody listened :th: )

Looks great Rob.   What's type of wire is on them?   What is the weight?   They look like they'd be great on Black Sea Bass.   Just wondering if they'll get down 30-35 feet on a moon tide.

I'm far from an expert on bucktails but I've done some thinking on this.  It seems to me that bucktails for shore casting have different needs from boat jigging. From shore you want that resistance in the skirt that will lift it off the bottom as you retrieve. But from a boat you want as little resistance as possible to reduce your scoping out. 

 

That's my logic in using the squid skirts that have a lower resistance than typical hair or the ballooning out silicone that Rob is using.
