I have an Impala that the computer says I'm averaging 23.8 MPG, however, when I fill up with gas and divide the number of gallons used by the actual miles driven, it comes out closer to 19 MPG miles. How did you figure yours? As for best gas mileage, how can anyone argue against Subaru unless its because its not a monster truck that weighs over 2 tons and has 22" wheels. Not 4WD. Used to call the mpg on the dash a lieometer. Edited June 14, 2018 by Shag "Ban Pre-shredded Cheese, Make America Grate Again"
buckmaster
Is it for your daily driver or a weekend hunting / fishing. type vehicle. I have a land rover defender diesel that gets 30mpg in full time 4wd, but it you are commuting to work into it everyday as your sole method of transport, it aint the most comfortable ride for that. capefish4231
2001 Tacoma 4x4 reg cab with 2.7L 4 cyl and 5 speed stick gets me 24.2 on the highway if i keep it at or below 65. Over that it drops to around 22. Primarily town and beach driving puts me in the 20 ish range.
