Yeah he just had surgery not too long ago, all went well. We plan on doing some shows maybe next year if all is well.
Goldy
A week to go. I'm excited. I live down the street, did people really wait there all night for the surf show? I mean how crowded does it get? I was expecting a little show, but this thing seems massive. I've never been to one, so I'm excited. On average, how many people show up to this based and door entrance fees? Now i saw some people say things are expensive. Like what are we talking? Up charge of x%? Anything to watch out for /avoid? Thanks and looking forward to meeting all SOL's

Dan Tinman
Quote did people really wait there all night for the surf show? Yes. Last year the first guy showed up at 7:15 the night before the show. He came all the way from Maine for it. -
27conch
Yes, it will be very crowded, especially early, as guys try and purchase plugs before their favorite builder sells out.

They didn't listen or care. Now everyone pays the price. They wait in the cold just like every other show. -
bayyaker54
I was thinking, with all the people that come to Surf Day, if the vendors and seminar speakers could mention something about catch and release, maybe just maybe people will start thinking about the future. Big Will
Will parking be an issue? And is it necessary to get there early or would arriving on time be fine?

All depends on your reason for attending. If seminars or stocking up on normal gear are your priority then arriving on time should be fine. If you’re looking to score some hard to find plugs then you definitely want to be there early. Be Strong, Be Smart, Help Others
