A Most Humbling Experience

Sorry to hear it Raider.

Understand exactly what you're saying too, my Dad had a great description for that humbling feeling, it was along the lines of "we're all just wandering around on a ******** highway blindfolded, any one of us could get run over by this at any second."

Good luck man.

Godspeed to him.  Yes, the number of people affected is astounding.  Primary liver or metastatic?

My understanding is primary liver... and detected pretty early

fair question... just my gut reaction when I walked in and sat down I guess

I meant no disrespect.

My SIL had her last treatment today.....

I never went with her so maybe I am just missing something. but I was just curious as to why you found it humbling.

I know you didn’t Frank...and it was a good question

how’d she make out? You know in Boston there’s a bell you ring  when you’ve finished an entire course of treatment and everyone claps ... I’m guessing that’s not unique to this facility

HA.

I sent a text before and her response was that she just rang the bell,

wasn't sure what that meant but I thought I connected the dots.

I guess that's a thing.
