OK so what was it?

I was following this on the auction site. I had the high bid for a little while but I stopped at $150 largely because I wasn't sure what it was. I was thinking it was an early Bob Pond. It wound up selling for $355. So now I have to know what was it and how rare is it?

It is a very rare special order Blue Streak made for Sarge Sargent who owned the GoosehumockTackle shop and was Pres of the Mass Beach Buggy Assoc. I assume the three stripes were for “Sargent” about 1950. I wish I saw it.

Very good, Roy. I knew it was a Blue Streak; but didn't know the 'Sarge' story. Thanks. B
