gman1253
bobbrown has a point -- I started using the clear tip I lines myself & really like them. All of these are good -- you just add a leader/ tippet (6-9 ft). Wulff Lost Tip Cortland Ghost Tip Rio Outbound Short Airflo Sniper SA Sonar (various) I will say the the older Outbounds were a PIA with the running line coiling - I haven't used the new core ones which are supposed to be much better. The Cortland & Wulff don't coil anywhere as much as the original OBS lines. Just be careful with the grain weights on the heads they are all over the place. BFD also has a point -- I usually use a sharpie & draw a couple of stripes on the end of the clear tip so I know the leader is coming. bonefishdick
True, I bet there were a lot that wished they had. I am going to say this much, there may be a few that have and that is okay, I would say that more ar fish are caused to shy off by the shadow of a fly line than than the line itself.
