Frugal Fisherman
If you fishwater i suggest practicing with poppers, spooks and hollow frogs... Hollow frogs will really teach one what it takes to make a lure zig-zag...spooks will teach how to steer a lure...poppers will teach what will make a lure spit or just make a wake
Frugal Fisherman
Now, that's just talking lure action....what to do when something actually blows up on your presentation is a whole 'nother story
part cork
Don't ignore the smaller sinking version of the ss popper either. Swims just like the 2 3/8oz and the smaller profile can be the ticket sometimes.
Moose
Excellent info thanks guys. I couldn't use a darter to save my life last weekend. I need a 9' rod, and my 8' is rated "H", plus new plugs as mentioned. XD plugs are "Xtra-distance". (*member formerly known as 'jbg123')
