kenzy
Hello all, hope everybody had a wonderful July 4th weekend. I didn't have a chance to go out so I just wondering if the Mackerels still around or they long gone? Thank you for your report.

The Riddler
I hope all those Macks get nuked along with all the herring and pogies too....surfcasters and inshore people wanted the bait....great, now you got bait...then they say, "oh wait, how come there are not as many bass in the rocks anymore....there must be a decline in the Striped Bass population!"....lol

JimmyHoffa
Are there any Mack's in Boston harbor close to shore or around hull gut? I'm in a kayak so I can't go too far. I'm trying to decide when I go out Sunday, wether or not to just bring some eels.
bdowning
Willows Pier in Salem *used* to be fairly reliable for macks....about 30 years ago lol. That's the most recent rpt I can give on mack catching from shore. -bd Pfantum Pfishah

The Riddler
Mack's literally came into the harbor that I saw on Saturday. nahant / graves / Brewster all have Mack's . Getting flmacks from shore would be tough right now, best bet would be Salem area from the willows but that may be slow.
