DerrickT
This will be the place for July reports. June was a pretty wet month, hopefully some got out between storms and fronts. Fishing seems to be pretty good all over the state from what I've seen from other reports here and there.
fishbites
I caught two small tiger musky thursday night and one small walleye at my favorite spot. Hopefully we can get some nicer weather so the fishing pics up though.

JahDW
catching mostly small bass in darby creek on ultralight stuff with classic panther martin #2 spinners. I still see a few trout here and there, and of course there are sunnies and chubs to keep it interesting. Had two standoffs yesterday about 40 min each trying to get finicky trout to hit something. they'd follow sometimes, but never whap it. Thinking about adding a small piece of jon's pork or something to the spinner hook...

Beastly Backlash
Channel cat action has been very hot lately. I had some time (between work and classes) at the end of June and the beginning of July to hit some smaller creeks for channel catfish. The biggest was 30in with a head that was 6in across. The rest were in the 20in-25in length range. I was able to catch them by working bluegills in and around wooded structure and shore line current breaks as even the creeks were running a little hard. Tried for musky as well, but nothing. Edited July 9, 2015 by Pylodictis
Beastly Backlash
With the water levels on the larger rivers going down last week, I was able to get out and effectively fish locations that had adequate current breaks and I was able to score a number of decent sized channel catfish as well. Flatheads should be finishing up their spawn, so, with the appropriate gear to handle the still fairly heavy current, I am hoping to nail some nice post spawn flatties. Beastly Backlash
big flatheads where im at Nice! The west has been behind the east this year in terms of warming up. The pre-spawn bite didn't turn hot until mid May for us.

TheToadHunter
Nice! The west has been behind the east this year in terms of warming up. The pre-spawn bite didn't turn hot until mid May for us. The first week of May already had countless of empty beds on the West Branch where I fish. But with our numbers of fish, the spawn can last over a month depending on what section you fish. Wild brown trout spawn into January, and I've seen them spawn in February due to population densities.
DragonsLax48
got out last night. full moon killed some awesome fishing. I had a few striper blow up on top water but i couldnt hook them. any jigs or swimmers seemed like a waste of time. tons of small bait jumping and small bass around. this spot produces at the right times i feel. DerrickT
Hit Lake Ontelaunee last night for the first time and probably the last. Looks like a nice lake but is a huge trash hole. Looks like lots of structure and acres upon acres of lily pads but I couldn't find any fish. Didnt even see any sunnies anywhere. Pretty much worked my way around the whole lake working different sections and came up empty. This heat sucks too.
