Hero who found America's most wanted WILL get a new boat: Donations flood in for man who stumbled on suspect in his yard

David Henneberry, a resident of the suburb of Watertown, had been at home under curfew since early hours
At 5.30pm went outside for cigarette and noticed tarpaulin on his 24ft pleasure cruiser had been disturbed
Saw blood on it and thought he could see a body underneath, went inside and called police
Hundreds of police officers, FBI and SWAT teams descended on quiet neighborhood riddling countless holes in his beloved boat

Donations toward buying Watertown hero David Henneberry a new boat are already pouring in from around the country.

The 66-year-old man who came face-to-face with suspected Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev hiding inside his boat is the man credited for ending a nightmarish manhunt for the most wanted man in America.

The after effect was a sacrifice, however was countless holes in his boat that neighbors would describe as his 'baby.'

If he had insurance, I'd love to see the claim!!!!!
Not sure what a 22 Sea Hawk was worth, but it sounds like he'll be able to afford a new real dream boat! Now....what should he name her??

If you tattoo mine with 40cals and throw a flashbang on the deck--I would expect no less---from the city; but that is pretty cool that residents chipped in for the win !

Eh, only if he wants to blow some smoke up you know where.  To be honest...the 9,000+ police officers didn't find him.  That guy did.

Plus they had all day to search. It took him whay 30 minutes after the curfew was lifted? Give him the new boat all other money goes to the slain officer and families that suffered such horrific injuries. Seems fair to me.

Not to be negative on a good thing, but with all of the conspiracy theories floating around and the way this story was worded has me saying "hmm.. something is off"..

Good for him though, he at least gets a new toy.

Not sure he is a hero, but I'm very happy he didn't get his head blown off when he lifted the cover. Pretty cool he found the guy though. Hope he enjoys the new ride. And I agree it would be neatif he donated the rest of the cash to the One Fund or other fund helping the victims.

So many hidden truth and conspiracy behind all this bombing and the sandy hook...

Anyone heard of the Craft members on duty before the bombing with the SAME bookbag that had the bombs in and yet the FBI and media just considers them a ghost..

Illuminati's at its best.

Don't get me started, I have been very vocal about why the FBI needed any help finding a known shady character, whom they must have had pictures of and lived 2 miles from the bomb site.....which is why I posted here instead of political forum!

If that was the case I would be rounding them up myself and shoving them in there like sardines.

Good I'm glad this guy is getting a new boat, he did the right thing
