Haven't spent any time actually fishing them hard, but they certainly perform as advertised.

Thats awesome Johnny, thanks for your feed back. I got some comming my way, so I cant wait to try em out. When do you start up in NYC?

Here is my opinion based on previous lures, etc that wiggle.

Plugs wiggle and they catch

Tins/spoons wiggle and they catch

Soft plastics wiggle and they catch

Fly lipps wiggle and they catch

Other flies wiggle and they catch

I honestly think these are going to catch fish. Once I recieve some I will try and post a report.

Interesting. Clever idea of the double hole and loop knot so the disks can be fitted at any time and stay in position. I notice that the surface area of the disks are large compared to the flies. Do the disks impact hook ups?

JRT that's a good question about impacting hook ups. I'm not sure, and I would like to know myself. Johnny King has tested these flies (his posting can be found here) and he seemed to really like em. In my own interpretation, as long as that pulse disk stays on the mono line, i don't believe it can inter-fear with hook settings. If you google search brine fly innovations, there's a really neat video on their website. Also if you search you tube for brine fly pulse disks, you will find the video as well. I have mine coming within the next few weeks, I am going to try to do the best I can and report a video. Thanks for your interest.

I tried something similar to that a few years ago. It had awesome action in the water but it was terrible casting. How do these discs cast?

Just started using these and they work.  Unplugs and casts easily.

Awesome job on those flies Pete! How do you like those pulse disks? I fell in love with them, ive caught some nice fish on em. For me the biggest factor regarding the pulse disks is when fish are very picky, these disks seems to get me bites when this occurs. What results have you seen?
