Rectangular hatch in Outback

This looks like a worthwhile upgrade but looks like a pita to open when seated. The 2013 Outbacks are marked for this upgrade in the corners with a little indentation.

It just shows where to drill and start the cut , if doing this on a pre 2013 Outback you will just have to lay it out yourself which shouldn't be hard. I think this option will cost around $90.00 as a kit.

Sorry, it will not fit a Revo or Adventure .

I like the idea myself. It sure seems to have a lot more storage space. But I'm not putting another hatch in my Outback until Hobie fixes the gasket problem.

Looks cool. I usually stuff a soft "six pack" cooler filled with ice packs and bait into that round hatch. It would be easier loading that into the rectangular hatch. I think my legs would get in the way though.
