Hey everyone, in a week my family and I are going to Atlantic City for a vacation, and of course that means alot of fishing. I would really appreciate it if you could give me info about how the bite is.

Thanks,
Dan

Right now:

Trigger fish around the jetty/rocks/structures. Small hooks with clam or squid, but I hear they hit anything. Notorious bait stealer.
Kingfish in the surf. Go with bloodworms or fish-bits. Again small hooks. A hi/lo would work.
Blackfish season open 7-15? I think the limit is one.
Brown shark at night with kingfish head.
I've seen a few blues caught last weekend.

Thank you for the report!
Would sharks bite during the day at all or just at night? And also have the fluke been biting at all?

Took the High Roller on a day trip last week out of Gardners Basin,AC. Backbay flounder fishing, over 300 shorts, but the keepers were all over 5 pounds. 1 to 2 pound blues hitting Brig. beach. Check in at One Stop B&T on Atlantic Ave. Noel will give you straght scoop, and is one of the cleanest tackle shops I've seen. Good Luck.

Wow, it's sounds like you had an incredible trip!  For those of us who can't get up there all the time, it's these reports that keep us guys psyched for the fall run.

Thanks bigguy, I think we are planning to do a mix of shore fishing and fishing off the High Roller.
