no offense but i dont think you are going to get many responses doing this. especially flat out asking for somebody to burn their spots. anybody who has a favorite or multiple favorite fishing spots found them the hard way. by taking the time to experiment and search for them themselves. i would recommend doing exactly that. spend the time on the water to learn the area and the fish just like everyone else. if you are really clueless as to where to find fish ask more general questions like "what kinds of structures or conditions do you prefer to fish?" most people would be more than happy to answer these questions. but asking someone to give you an exact spot to fish is both lazy and insulting to most fisherman.

I have had some luck (Spring and Fall only), fishing from the bank near the dam,  mostly early morning.   In my case fly fishing using clousers.

I may be old and befuddled and I hope I'm not but Jerseycat9, would be the guy to chime in here. I'd rather fish with him than anyone on this board......if it is his lake. If not....it's the internet la la la la.

My son stopped at a bridge over the Chatahoochee near Gainesville coming from Athens Friday and caught two spots pretty quick .

The bridge on Mcever road has been kind to me in the past with cutbait. Lots of catfish and the occasional stripers. Or you can sling some cutbait at the Mountain View boat ramp, always some stripers hanging in that area that are routinely caught on cutbait and jerkbaits.
