So I want to know what is the biggest Fluke anyone on the town tavern forum has caught. What kind of tackle were you using and was it in deep water . Did you use circle hooks. How much test line. Did you use braid and Florocarbon leader? Did you use a bait casting reel like Abu-Garcia 6500C3 and what kind of material and what line test? Where did you catch that monster?

8 pounder.

Penn 310 reel on a Penn Mariner rod

50lb test green power pro with a 40lb Ande mono leader of about 3 feet.

3 oz bucktail with a squid strip

60 feet of water from a boat

Somewhere off the coast of RI

Anger is no more a requirement of killing,
than fear is a requirement of dying.

About .5 grams and well over an inch. Caught it off a piece of Watercress in a chicken salad sandwich at 500/600 ft above sea level. Nasty little **** he was...

wow that's a nice fish . I did hear that if you want the big ones then go deep like you did. What color bucktail? Did you get him while on a head boat?  Are you going out this year for Fluke?

Got three big fluke that day just a few minutes apart.
