Waking up to find out my kid sister Abbie hadn't been heard from, but had gone to The Station nightclub. That same day having to drive to her dentists office, and pick-up her most recent dental records; two days later through those dental records she was identified.
Abbie was (1) of 100 people that needlessly died that night. :(

I'm sorry to read that Nalu, very sad....:(

On vacation in greece in 1980 , a guy (local ) left the bar where we all were having a good time . Left shortly after he did only to find him as road kill , head on into a truck on a moped ... Messy scene , he was unrecognizable , ID'd only by his sneakers and hat he was wearing ...
My rod and my reel , thy comfort me ...

Came upon a roll-over on 287S.. There was a leg in the road and its owner was a few yards away.. Some one was administering CPR but did not apply a tourniquet.. I can still see his blood pumping out.. I told my kids to close their eyes..Wish I had done the same... He was a young father of 3. He passed away.

the mugs i saw when i showed up at my first food fling. :scared:

The village, which had stood for maybe 1,000 years, didn't know we were coming that day. If they had, they would have run. boB was at the eye of our rage. And through him, our Captain Ahab. He would set things right again. That day, we loved him.

Years ago, I came across a car accident on Burr Street, in Fairfield. A car overloaded with seven young people was speeding down the hill, lost control, and swiped a tree, which cut the car it in half. There were bodies all over the place; no survivors. A friend of mines brother was killed. The bodies were as limp as rag dolls. That scene has stuck with me lo these many years....:(

I agree Albacized, I can't think of anything worse. in the Long Island forum a young man just lost his life in accident, its very sad. I can't imagine carrying on without my son and feel for anyone that has lost a child. You must lose a part of yourself and must never be the same.... bless our children....

Amen to that brother...amen. It is certainly is the worst thing I've been through.

Bless our angels...
