They should stuff that lion, put wheels on his feet, and then push him in front of unsuspecting hikers on a secluded trail.

News of this this came from a reliable source, my son's preschool teacher
not like it's from a conservation officer or an Irish wash-woman, but I'll bite...
. A mountain lion was struck and killed on Naughright road in Washington Twp (Morris County) NJ last Thursday evening.
Ya don't say, I'm sure in this age of cell phone cameras and internet media, the pics will be forthcoming...:bucktooth:
She saw a big commotion by the side of the road and pulled over to see what was going on.
I thought she saw a Mountain Lion?
Dead mountain lion.
How does a dead "anything" make a commotion... it's dead!
She's a pseudo redneck and knows what a bobcat looks like and said this thing was no bobcat as it was bigger than a german shepherd and had a long tail.
*** is a speudo redneck?
Maybe it was a dog? Some "rednecks" and pseudo-rednecks have confused dogs for lots of things, even girlfriends..
A guy in my office says he saw one about a 1/4 mile up the road from me which isn't far from where the Thursday incident occurred.
Ok - who else saw the "Dead Mountain Lion"? I don't want to hear about Clem Kadiddlehopper seeing a tabby and going into hysterics...
I don't want to believe it's true and there should at least be cell phone pics of the dead cat which I have asked for.
Ok... if you saw a dead Mountain Lion off the side of the road what would you do?
a. leave immediately and wait a week later to tell your friend about what you saw...
or
b. take pictures, call Fish and Wildlife, call the local newspaper
there were (supposedly) several cars pulled over and she stopped to see what was going on. As before, I don't want to believe this is true and asked for photos. There were documented large cat prints found in Colts Neck several years ago. I dunno, perhaps that wacky tiger lady who lived near Great Adventure had another one escape
Just imagine how happy you would be if you lost everything you have in life and then suddenly got it back

I can see how Jersey folks would start thinking sasquatch when they see certain things...

I think the ground water from CibaGeigy has a lot to do with it...

Ummmmm. Nice. Real nice. Happy thanksgiving to you, too.....

MONMOUTH COUNTY — Police and wildlife officials are searching wooded areas and neighborhoods along the Manalapan and Marlboro after two people reportedly spotted a cougar prowling along a roadway early this morning, authorities said.

Shortly before 7:30 a.m., a man was driving on Robertsville Road in Manalapan when he saw what he described as a mountain lion following a deer across the roadway, according to Manlapan Police Captain Chris Marsala. Officers from both the Manalapan and Marlboro responded to the location, but did not find the animal.

A short time later Anthony Lena, a Marlboro Animal Control Officer, claimed he saw a "large cat with a long tail" walking along a creek bed near Robertsville Road, Marsala said. Manalapan officers returned to the scene along with officials from the state Division of Fish and Game and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, but the second search also turned up no sign of the animal.

A helicopter was dispatched to aid in the search sometime today, said Marsala.

Officers did find "feline tracks" in a muddy creek bed bear Robertsville Road, according to Marsala, and a wildlife biologist was analyzing photos of the tracks today.

Wildife experts believe that except for a small collection of the large cats in Florida, cougars — also known as mountain lions, pumas or panthers — are extinct on the East Coast, and that most reported sightings are simply a case of mistaken identity.

But in 2007, state authorities said they received at least 70 calls from residents claiming they spotted one of the sharp-toothed felines.

Staff Writer Mark Mueller contributed to this report.

That thing would eff me up.
"Lucky" is a fictional character on the interwebs. Nothing "Lucky" says or does can be or should be construed as a real thought by an actual person. Objects in your rear view mirror may appear to be closer than they actually are.
