i picked up a stronger transom mount trolling motor for my boat to be used in some local electric only lakes/ponds...

the last one I had was a 12v...can someone describe or post an image of how you rig 2 12v deep cycle batteries to run 24v...this will be used w/o a charger etc, just batteries straight to motor...

I think I have it right in my mind but want to be sure its as simple as I think..

wire in series batt1 + to motor - to + on batt2 - on batt2 to motor

Also don't forget an appropriate sized fuse or breaker to protect your motor and batteries.
