Coming home from physical therapy the car in front of me threw out the drivers window a bottle cap. That alone was frustrating for me. By the time we reached the end of the road he tossed out the bottle through the passenger side window.

Why didn't I beep or say anything ? When I was a younger lad I once beeped at the car in front of me after the light turned green and he sat there talking to the passenger. When his door opened and he approached me, this 6'7" male (I'm excluding race, both incidents were by the same but its not selective to one race) and leaned into my window and said if you ever beep at me again I'll pull you from that car and beat you silly.

Flash forward 30 years and by the looks of the guy and car I figured I'd be looking down the barrel of a gun, so I keep my horn and complaints to myself when driving these days.

Is the moral fabric breaking down that rapidly ? Everywhere I drive, highways or side streets all I see is garbage along the roadside.

I'd like to go back to the 50's when kids were afraid to spit on the sidewalk because they were afraid the police would arrest them because that's what we were told.

And now back to your previous programming.

I recently had a guy nearly attack me for not waiting for him to finish texting.

Had another genius blow a gasket cuz he tried to back out of a parking spot as if he had the right of way.

I like the ******** who cant be bothered to park straight or even better the 98 honda civic parked diagonally across two spots cuz it's so special

yeah people pretty much suck nowadays

I honked at some kids throwing burger wrappers out of their car window and got shot the middle finger for my trouble. I wanted to tear those little fingers right off their little all knowing hands and throw them out in the dirt along side their other trash.

Back when I was in college (1980) I pulled behind a big Caddy Eldorado and the occupants on both sides threw their McDonalds trash out the window - all of it... bag, soda cups, you name.

I pulled up alongside them and in the car were a blue-haired elderly couple that proceeded to flip me the bird

I'll take God and guns, you can keep Obama.

It's everywhere. I fish last night at a spot in a nice section of Ct. It is really a spot for locals only. But outsiders come to this spot to fish, so do I. Last night there were beer cans strewn all over the place. I just couldn't believe it! When I left early this morning I cleaned the place up, just because I want to continue going there and it just looked plain ugly!

It seems you can't defend yourself or even flee without serious consequence.
This is a recent incident in Long Beach, LI,NY.
Potts was 22 when it happened. 5'-8", 140 lbs.

MINEOLA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A Queens College student has been convicted of criminally negligent homicide in a 2009 road rage incident.

Evan Potts, 24, of Oceanside, was acquitted Monday by a jury in Nassau County of the more serious charge of manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Potts ran down Ian Sharinn, of Long Beach, on May 15, 2009, after the two got into an argument on the street.
Potts claimed he accidentally cut off Sharinn at an intersection and following a two-mile verbal argument — shouting at one another as they drove side by side — Sharinn exited his yellow Porsche twice and confronted him.

Potts said Sharinn hit and kicked his rented Nissan Altima and boxed him in, and he panicked. Potts called 9-1-1 as Sharinn grabbed the Altima door frame. Potts accelerated and Sharinn fell beneath the tires and was crushed, witnesses had said.

Potts’ attorney said his client was trying to defend himself against Sharinn when he accelerated forward and struck him. He also claimed the victim had an issue controlling his rage and that the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Sharinn was pursuing the smaller Potts like a predator.

Prosecutors argued that what Potts did was inexcusable, no matter his fear.

He faces up to 4 years in prison. Potts will be sentenced Aug. 16, 2011

I end a lot of my sentences with "just saying" because ending the sentence with "DUMB ASS" would probably be considered offensive!

It's Thursday which is trash day here. When leave the house in a few minutes for my walk, it will be with a trash bag in hand.
I pick up litter as son as the sun makes it light enough to se and I drop it in the tras cans I pass and recycle bins too. Some weeks I need the bag just to get from one house to the next. Other weeks I find little on the road.

I'm out in the country not anywhere near Dunkin, McDs, Taco Bell, etc but I sure as hell find their trash.

Students of Bryant College just up the road. Well to do white kids. Go figure.
If it isn't fast food refuse, it's beer cans.
I find a lot less in the summer months. Early fall is a killer.

I live a block away from a 7-11 convenience store. I see kids (mostly young teens) walking down the street with big gulp/slurpee cups. As soon as they empty the cups they just drop them randomly where ever they are, even in the middle of the street! I've also seen kids walk out of the 7-11 with a popsicle or candy bar, peel the wrapper off, and drop it on the sidewalk even though they are 2 large trash cans in front of the 7-11 that they are practically standing next to. I blame the parents for not properly teaching their kids about littering.
