North Shore Report

This 30" Pollock hit the Mikah Dean Sand Eel lure in very shallow water in a rocky north shore cove this morning. Unusual to get a big Pollock like this in close to shore. Only a few small bass otherwise. My friend caught a small bonito from a N. Shore Beach this week too. You never know what is in the water!

It must be a good fight on the pollack. Thin tho....

It was not a good fight at all and I agree the skinniest Pollock I have ever seen. Perhaps that is why it was hugging the shoreline trying to find a good meal.
