This rod is a 7' fast action spinner. The rod is in great shape, but I just don't use it anymore. These rods retail for $240, you can get this one 1/2 price!
$120.00 + shipping

I would assume its designed to fit inside regular luggage or in an overhead. What is the length of the case?

It fits in my luggage, but I will measure when I get home from work.

If this helps at all, I just got back from FL and brought the 7 1/2' 3 pc version of the tidemaster travel rod with me - it fell within the appropriate length allowed by JetBlue to bring aboard as carry on (I strapped it to the top of my small carry on bag and it fit nicely)...that particular airlines has two sets of carry on limits depending on which of two type of aircraft you're flying on (Airbus 320 or E190) - this fit within regulation for both

I can't do $100 shipped, but would consider a trade for a nice 3500 or 4000 size reel (stradic, etc...)

How about a NIB baitrunner 3500B? I can also trade Daiwa capricon, shimano symetre, Penn sargus, but they don't worth $120.
