Sedge Man
I just bought an old house in Pine Beach NJ that has a huge old coal burning stove in the basement. The house was used mostly as a Summer bungalo, and there are two mesh heat registers right through the middle of the house up from the basement and all the way up to the second floor. Basically the rising of the heat kept the place warm. If you're interested, let me know. It'll be a project to remove, but it looks like it would be pretty nice if it was cleaned up and maybe refinished. Definitely an antique.
