Went out on the Passaic River this past weekend and caught plenty of smallies. Had 3 LMB's but they were on the small side.

I am going to replace the second leaf spring on my trailer this weekend and then hit the Passaic again for some more smallies. I will take some pictures, because without pictures a report is useless.

I got one bass so far this year, about a pound. cwm13.gif

Been out quite a few times. hit one small pond quite a number of times that is still holding some of those big winter stocked trout, almost caught a pickeral about 6 inches but he jumped off. cwm13.gif

Genius Otter...a free-for-all fishing reports thread including all the moronic commentary banned from the regional forums...no such thing as spot burning in here. Post at ur own risk...Great idea. icon14.gif

Got my first bass of the year Sunday. It was fun watching salamanders come up for air in crystal clear water only to get raped by a bass or pick. 4 Bass and 6 Picks total. Think I might try for pike this weekend.

But the creek, pronounced "krik" in these parts, that you can barely see from mid left through top center has been giving up some monster chubs on really small bead heads. Bumper crop of bugs this year too. May have to have a boil to keep the population in check.
