Had purchased 2 'donks the other day at a "3 for the price of 2" lure sale at Sports Authority............Haven't fished it yet, but did remove the rear treble and replace with dressed single hook. Looking forward to giving it a chance here on the East End. (Hope it is a good lure as it is a lousy name.)

The gags "Mr Bunker" is another great peanut imitation worth taking a look at.

OK, tested them out Saturday.
Really like the action on the Badonk-a-donk. You can really get it darting around the surface with minimal effort.
The Super Pogy seems pretty good too. You can feel it wiggling just like a little FW Rattle-trap. Even reeling slow you can tell when it's working right.
Will have to pick up a few more colors of each.

How do they cast ? What kind of distance did you get with the Super Pogy ??

I picked up 2 Donks this year. I haven't fished them yet. I think they may cast like a deflated balloon, so I loaded one. they have 2 chambers. I put about 5 cc in the back and 5 in the front. I don't know if it will still float, but if not I will give it a shot 1 foot subsurface. I will let you know how it all works out.

I love these too. I caught some really fun bigeye jacks (I think) on them down in Costa Rica in March. I just skipped them across the water as fast as I could near an exposed section of reef and hooked up. I raised a bunch of big needlefish too but couldn't hook them. I think I had the 4" version that was silver with pink and yellow. I have a bunch of the other colors at home too. Great price.
