Quick question about the ll bean emerger boot foot waders for those who own them or have used them...is the boot felt bottom or rubber?

as stated before, they are felt.. they love to hold water though (takes a while for them to drain out after rinsing, etc) but overall they are nice wader and I am glad I got them

well i got a pair for xmas. they are too big however. i ordered a XL because im a size 12 or 13 shoe. on the bean site the XL is listed as shoe sizes 11-12. The shoe feels ok, but may be a big snug with heavy socks. the problem i have is that the rest of the wader is too big. the legs are a couple of inches too long (The inseam comes up way to far). it seems like it would fit someone who is 6'2" or 6'3", but im only 6' (barely). i would order the large, but the boots only come in size 10 or 11. I guess i have big feet does anyone else have this problem? the only alternative i see is getting stocking foots with seperate boots. any ideas??

What if he doesnt need korkers? what if he is fishing a sandy beach. You have to ask the right questions in order to respond correctly and inteligently.

checked out the emerger wading boots yesterday, and im NOT a fan! heavy buckets. but the boot alone is on sale for 38.99 right now. i just wanted something lighter that drains faster. if you go stocking foot like i have, caution on the boot

I love mine. I'm 6' 1". I just hike em up bit, and put on my wading belt. The crotch is cut big enough that I can pull the legs up till they are as tight as I want them. I find they are super comfortable. The boots are best part about them. They are soft enough to walk around in for hours upon hours. Where the boot meets the wader is real comfy. no rubs. I dont think they get too heavy at all. lifetime warranty is dynamite.
